Mr. Black is an attorney called to the bar in Jamaica in 2014 and in Belize in 2020. He is currently residing in Belize and is a Litigation Associate at our firm.

Prior to joining us in 2019 Mr. Black was the Managing Director of BLACKLAW & Associates a law firm located in Kingston Jamaica. During his time as managing director of this firm he has represented various clients in high profile defamation and personal injury claims securing millions of dollars in compensation for his clients in the process.

Real Estate law was the main area of practice for Mr. Black during his time in Jamaica and not only was he able to secure judgements for his clients who were embroiled in contentious land disputes but he also established solid business relationships with a number of established real estate developers and private companies which has resulted in him overseeing many multi-million dollar conveyancing transactions throughout the length and breadth of his home country.

Mr. Black however is probably best known for being an astute criminal defence attorney and advocate not only giving stellar legal representation for his clients but also offering his time and service to the legal aid clinic in Jamaica.

In 2015 Mr. Black also served on a specially assembled team of Attorneys tasked with supporting the Office of the Public Defender during the West Kingston Commission of Inquiry probing the conduct of the May 2010 police and military operations in Tivoli gardens.
