William practices in commercial litigation, civil fraud, company law, banking and financial services, land disputes, public, and administrative law and insolvency. He also has experience in probate matters and commercial contracts.
William is the lead counsel representing a host of clients in the unprecedented liquidation of Choice Bank Limited. Much of his work involves complex high-value cross-border disputes seeking pre-emptive remedies such as Norwich Pharmacal orders and worldwide freezing orders.
Prior to joining the law firm of Glenn D. Godfrey & Co LLP in 2016, William worked as a paralegal/trainee at a boutique law firm for upwards of six years where he amassed significant experience in litigation before the Courts of Belize including the Magistrate’s Court, Supreme Court of Belize, the Court of Appeal of Belize and various public service Tribunals.
William read law at BPP University in London, England where he graduated with an upper-second class degree and completed his Legal Practice Course with commendation in 2016.
